The idea of blogging has been hard as its been one thing or another. Sad news. Frustrating news. No news. And it goes on and on. So its a new week. I am back to the grind. And back on track here as well. Today/tonight I will start back in my Oscar Best Picture movies with The Hurt Locker. I am not thrilled to actually watch this movie, but a goal is a goal and there are no short cuts. So I will bear through it and hopefully be surprised a bit as well. Maybe I'll enjoy it more than I expect. Who knows.
I'm getting a bit excited for our "busy season." We have at least one, if not two, visitors coming next month. Halloween at the end of the month (yay!). Another birthday a couple weeks later. And then THANKSGIVING! And our visit to Vegas. This time better go fast because I cannot wait to get my feet on Vegas' lack of good soil again. This just is not working out for us. I will be glad when I can start a countdown instead of the count up. Dallas isn't cut out for me and I'm not cut out for Dallas. Just not my speed. I'm ready for the change...which is still a ways off, but somewhere out in the very far off horizon.
